KNOWME results presented at a symposium

Prof. Dr. Thomas Pawlik of the University of Applied Sciences Bremen (a KNOWME project partner) gave a presentation at the 3rd International Symposium on Innovative Logistics Management on “Contemporary Human Resources Issues in Maritime Logistics”. This international event was organised by the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics, University of Bremen jointly with the China-ASEAN Research Institute at the Business School of Guangxi University. This year's focus was on sustainable and innovative solutions for efficient traffic systems and logistics processes in global supply chains. This third symposium will further contribute to reinforcing the academic and industrial network between Germany, China, and other Asian countries by establishing new research areas for international collaboration and cooperation. Symposium participants were introduced to some of the KNOWME results, including the Go-Maritime portal and the e-courses. Prof Pawlik’s participation in the Symposium has not only contributed to disseminating the results of the KNOWME project, but has also extended the scope of the KNOWME knowledge network beyond the boundaries of Europe.
